At Christ the King, we support life-giving and lifelong discipleship of Jesus Christ for our youth and families.
There’s a place for every age!
Nursery
We know it’s hard going to Mass as a family with young children and we’d like to help you out. Please feel free to utilize our Nursery program during the 9:30am and 11am Masses for your 1 to 3 year olds. Nursery is open every Sunday with the exception of major holidays. Registered families will be notified on these weekends.
Please register for the program using the link below. Once you are registered, you are able to come any week you choose to utilize the Nursery. It is first-come, first-served. There is no weekly sign up and the Nursery is completely free!
For drop off, please bring a diaper bag with your child’s name on it, with all of the essentials, and leave a little bit of time to help your child settle in.
Please contact Heidi Warner for the Nursery location.
Faith Formation | Pre-K & Kinder
Sundays at 9:30 AM Mass
CTK invites all (potty-trained) children between ages 3 and kindergarten to join us and to “Come to Know God” through Faith Formation during the 9:30am Mass.
Through crafts, songs, and stories, PKFF offers our children a fun and loving experience with their parish community. It is perfect for children who are not quite ready to attend Mass with the families. Classes run from September through April.
The cost for the program is $50 per child (early bird registration of $40 runs until June 1, 2024).

Faith Formation | Grades 1-6
NEW for 2024-2025! Sundays, 5-6:30 PM
After many years of holding Grade 1-6 Faith Formation on Monday evenings, we are making a switch to Sundays. Now Grades 1-6 FF will be held at the same time as 7-8, making it a “one stop shop” for families with children in both programs.
This new day and time allows us to “take back Sunday!”, setting it aside as a day for God and Church. We hope holding FF on a Sunday means our FF children will be LESS tired and our FF parents will be MORE available to participate in the program as Catechists, Room Parents, and attendees for Parent Sessions.
The cost for the program is $150 (early bird registration of $125 runs until June 1, 2024).

7-8 Confirmation Prep & Youth Ministry
Junior High school years, 7th and 8th grade, are a time for youth to explore their faith and prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation at Christ the King. Gathering 10 different schools from the Dallas area, this is a perfect place fellowship and making new Catholic friends.
The cost for the program is $150 (early bird registration of $125 runs through June 1).
NEW for 2024-2025! SUNDAY MEETINGS
Confirmation formation takes place in the form of a Sunday evening gathering, from 5-6:30pm (last year was 6-7:30pm). Each gathering will have snacks, a discussion of the Sunday Mass readings, a lesson from the Catechism, and a faith activity.
SERVICE PROJECTS & CONFIRMATION
There are quarterly service projects and retreats twice a year, along with some fun fellowship activities. In the Spring of the students' 8th grade year, they will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation.

High School YOUTH Ministry
The high school youth group at Christ the King consists of freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors from several North Dallas schools.
SUNDAY EVENINGS
The youth group meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm in the youth room in the Christ the King Community Center. Affectionately known as the “Bat Cave”, the youth room is a large second-floor facility with three big screen TVs, a full kitchen, restrooms, a sound system and two offices. There is even an air hockey table, two foosball tables and a ping pong table available. After the hour-long meetings, the group enjoys dinner together from 7:00 to 7:30 pm.
WHAT TO EXPECT
During the school year, the group meets most Sundays, but does not meet on Holidays. Meetings are based on college discussion groups. They are dynamic and inclusive. Issues important to high school students are discussed and relationships are created. Guest speakers offer expertise on various Catholic subjects. One of the keys of the Christ the King high school experience is to allow Catholic youth to grow in their faith and develop lifelong relationships with like-minded Catholics.
A SPIRIT OF SERVICE
Community service projects are an integral part of the high school youth group experience. Retreats, weekend excursions and summer mission trips have been popular over the past two decades.
There is no cost for this program.
