Welcome Andrew Petiprin!

Grace and peace to everyone at Christ the King! My name is Andrew Petiprin, and I am delighted to be joining Fr. Tony’s staff as the Kevin Cardinal Farrell Director of Community Life. For the past three years I have served as Fellow of Popular Culture at the Word on Fire Institute in Irving, and before that I worked at the Catholic Diocese of Nashville. My wife Amber and our two children, Alex and Aimee, live in Plano. All four of us came into full communion with the Catholic Church on January 1, 2019, and prior to that I was a clergyman in the Episcopal Church. I have graduate degrees from Oxford University and Yale University.

As Director of Community Life, I look forward to supporting the pastor’s vision in fostering an authentically Catholic community at Christ the King through oversight and coordination of parish ministry efforts, in collaboration with church personnel and volunteers. I will serve as a liaison between the pastor and major ministries of the parish, provide training and spiritual guidance for ministry leaders, and help enact the pastor’s strategic goals for the parish.
