Father Thomas Esposito
What Can the Monk Life do for You?
Join us on October 23rd in the Parish Center for a talk by Father Esposito. Light refreshments will be served.
About Father Thomas:
Fr. Thomas Esposito is a priest and monk of Our Lady of Dallas Cistercian Abbey, where he serves as the Subprior for the community and Junior Master for the young monks. He earned his doctorate in Sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, and he teaches in the theology department at the University of Dallas; he also teaches the senior World Religions and Apologetics course at Cistercian Preparatory School. Two of his books, Letters of Fire and The Roots that Clutch, are collections of letters that he wrote to historical figures and literary characters such as Saint Paul, Audrey Hepburn, Dr. Seuss, and Saint Bernadette on matters of faith, culture, and the spiritual life. He also writes a monthly column for the Texas Catholic called A Word to Enkindle. Most important of all, he taught Josh Clemmons a handful of Scriptural life hacks in a Master's theology class.
